The story behind Circles of Life
Circles of Life Healthcare Services LLC was born from one of the most personal experiences of my life. It is my way of honoring my parents and giving back in a way I was unable to when they needed me most. I was not present to care for them during their illness and final days, and that has remained one of the deepest regrets of my life. While I cannot rewrite the past, I can transform that pain into purpose by serving others with the same love, dignity, and compassion I wish I had been able to give my own parents.
In many ways, Circles of Life is my tribute to them. A lasting expression of love that says, “I am still here, serving others in your honor.”
My life's work has always centered on people. I began my academic journey in Mass Communication, earning a master's degree with a specialization in Advertising. After relocating to the United States, I felt called to make a more direct impact on people's lives, which led me to earn a Master of Social Work.
Today, I continue that journey as a doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies. To me, communication, social work, counseling, and caregiving are not separate professions. They are interconnected expressions of one calling: understanding people and helping them live healthier, more meaningful lives.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving diverse populations in a variety of settings. As a social worker and care coordinator, I have worked in nursing homes, supported individuals experiencing homelessness, served people living with HIV, and assisted families facing complex life challenges in New York. Every experience reinforced my belief that compassionate, person centered care has the power to restore hope, preserve dignity, and improve quality of life.
After relocating to Georgia, I worked with several home healthcare agencies while becoming established in my new community. It was during this time that I recognized a significant need for dependable, compassionate in-home care. That experience reminded me of the same painful gap I had lived with for years. Instead of allowing that regret to define me, I chose to let it inspire me.
From that purpose, Circles of Life Healthcare Services LLC was born.
